The Wrenn Group, LLCsm, the company behind several of the Lowcountry's most inviting communities, infuses each of its properties with distinctive elements designed to create the most comfortable and active lifestyle possible.

A graduate of Hanahan High School and Clemson University where he was a member of the National Championship football team, The Wrenn Group founder, C. Ray Wrenn, constantly strives to improve quality and maintain positive relationships in all his business ventures.

Upon graduating, Ray joined the family business Columbia Disposal Service (CDS) in Columbia, S.C. Within months, Ray had moved up the ranks from a general manager to overseeing the entire organization. “My dad saw that I was passionate about the business,” Ray recalls. “I'm also very systems and detail oriented and was able to take the company from ledger cards to computerized systems for routing, customer service, maintenance, and quality control.” Ray explains that the garbage business has “an incredible amount of moving parts.” Soon, Ray had expanded CDS and its affiliates into a company with branches in Jacksonville, FL, Atlanta and Savannah, GA, Walterboro, Cheraw, and Charleston, SC, Greensboro, NC, and Las Vegas, NV. What started in 1984 with five employees quickly mushroomed into an operation with more than 200 employees in 20 counties and five states.

Under Ray's direction, The Wrenn Group has assembled a vibrant, dedicated team of professionals who contribute a vast array of resources and wisdom. The group has a unilateral commitment to the local community and a focus on creating highly-functioning neighborhoods that bring people together while preserving the natural beauty of the Lowcountry. |
